Uncheck the "display plot style" box in the page set up manager.

Question Re: Paper Space Viewport Color

How can I have the "Display Plot Style" check box guaranteed unchecked every time I open a file - regardless of the drawing status? I tried to add something in my OPEN icon to set a variable, but I can't get into the PAGE SETUP box automatically.
    Thanks

I'm not exactly sure how you would do that because it's set up in the page set up manager. The only way you can be sure is to set up your layout, go into the page set up manager, create or import a page set up with the box checked. Then you need to set that one current. If you are using the typical PN approach you shouldn't ever need to do anything but add sheet notes in your sheet file anyway. The whole idea with sheet sets is that you can print them at anytime without worries. ie You don't every modify them once they are set up.

I hope this help. Their may be a way to write some front end stuff that would import a page set up and make it current. But since page set ups are based on size as well, you would be limited to one sheet size.

I am having this issue now. I have Plot Setup Manager open, I do not see that check box. There is only one check box to "Display when creating a new layout" and it is already unchecked. Please advise, ACADm2012

You need to modify the current Page Setup for a given layout tab. The Display plot styles toggle is on the editing dialog for each Page Setup, not on the main Page Setup Manager dialog.DipslayPlotStyles.png

Thank you for the images. I did use this method and still do not see the colors. This is not to say that there are no colors with in the VP. Apparently only the hatches are not showing up in color. Maybe the hatches are scaled too large with in the VP sp me how.
