wall poche disappearing

in constructs our wall poche is disapearing when wall is copied from a node and placed onto another intersection/endpoint/midpoint etc. (this is not a wall typical wall error as have always seen) happens when placed on polyline, xref, reference point and can not be corrected etc. suggestions???? HELP!!!

Check to make sure the wall is at a zero elevation. I noticed this in a file the other day where the wall did not go down to a zero elevation & as soon as it was dropped it displayed fine. Another thing you could try is to change your cut plane height - that might allow the hatch to display.

the elevation was at a negative. so that fixed it. what causes this to happen? is it user error? thanks again

Most likely. Are you using Project navigator. Someone may have assigned it to a wrong level, in which case it was drawn correct, just pushed to the wrong elevation.
