Print Area - Margins appear smaller in one drawing file

Hi

I have a strange problem where the margins on the plotted drawings for one drawing only, happens on all layouts on this particular drawing, are smaller than previously plotted drawings. The drawing template is the same as a number of drawings which when printed shows a much wider margin to the paper edge.
I have tried to check the properties of the printer and also the border of the drawing and all seem the same as other drawings which print the margin correctly.
One strange thing is the when you click on zoom extents on the drawings which print correctly it zooms to the dotted line, the printable area line I gather, whereas the drawing where the margin is smaller zooms to the actual border of the drawing template.
Dont know if this explains my problem very well but hopefully this is a problem which someone has come across before.

Can you please post one "good" drawing file and the "bad" drawing file, so me can take a look at the issue / problem first-hand...

My initial thought - Something ( eg Object of some kind ) or System Variable is causing the problem.

Are you plotting to scale or to fit?
Are you plotting Layout, Extents, Display, Window,?

We are using extents and fit to paper on all drawings.

The drawings are 3Mb or so which I think is too big to send can I try anything else first.

That makes it sound as if something is missing from the "bad" drawing that is present in all the others. Perhaps the good drawings have Points to control the limits or extents?

How about doing a SaveAs on a "good" drawing file and the "bad" one; deleting / removing all! ModelSpace Objects; deleting all Layouts except one; then run the _.Purge command; place in ZIP file for further file size compression if required.

Performing such a task I would have thought, would reduce file size down to an acceptable level for posting.
