    Default Missing Toolspace

my toolspace in civil3d is missing... when i tried to click the "Show Toolspace" on the General menu... the commandline prompts

"There are currently no palettes to show in the Toolspace window."

anybody encountered this the same problem and solved it?

I had the same thing happen at the very start of a training session. There was not much time to devote to troubleshooting so after an install repair failed we just did a full reinstall.

I am off work this week. I will not have access to the file until after the 1st of the year.

I recently had the same issue happen. I do know that it is something to do with the cui file. I think mine is corrupt. Can anyone send me an "original" cui file?

    I wasn't thinking...should have made a backup first!

There should be a backup (orginal CUI) in a folder User/cache in the user's document folders. I'm not at a 2006 machince right now to verifily the exact location but "ADesk " was nice enough to make a copy for times like this. A seach for *.cui should find it.
