Default Bring back the 'question mark' hint button.

Summary: I want the ability to choose whether I want a command setting hint in a dialog box brought back.

Description: Many years ago Microsoft had the ability to click a 'question mark' at the upper-right of the dialog box allowing the user to click on the dialog box setting for example and get a brief hint of what the setting does. AutoCAD had that too, and it worked great.

Now we have the nuisance timed help balloons that are either on or off, and they tend to obscure what item the user is seeking help with. Other times I've wanted just a hint only to get the full blown 'Help Wiki.'

While I'm more of a mouse than keyboard guy I find the basic Windows keyboard shortcuts much easier like F1 for help instead of finding an icon or help button with the mouse.

I do agree with this wish, but I think the "?" button was more of an O/S thing (Win2000, WinXP?) and not part of the Win7 UI/UX.

I do know that many of the fields in dialogs will show you a tooltip with the basically the same info if you hover. (Take the OPTIONS dialog for example)
I just think the "popup" that happened after you clicked the "?" (then the control you wanted help on...) generally contained more info.
