Cool Open an R14 word doc in newer version of cad

I was asked to update a couple of old details made in Word with dwg (R14) files pasted in.
Unfortunately we no longer have a copy of 14 in house any longer and I need to be able to open them in cad to edit them. I have 2000, 2004 and 2005 currently installed.
For those of you not familiar with the procedure
you would create the drawing in Acad (R14)
size the window in Acad to the size you need in the word document
do a ZOOM Extends, CTRL+C (copy), select all and then paste it in Word.
When you wanted to edit the drawing you could simply double-click on the image, it would open R14 automatically. then follow the same steps above.

    PLEASE HELP..

I have attached a the smallest page I could find for reference.

    Thank you
    Mark

I couldn't edit it by double-clicking, but, I did copy it from word and paste special > as autocad entities and this is what I came out with...

    Hi

Check out the following Technical Document on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS71969 - Edit embedded AutoCAD LT® 97/98 or AutoCAD® Release 14 drawing in AutoCAD 2000 or later release

    Have a good one, Mike
