    Default Batch plot or Publish?

    I have someone that called me and asked if MDT 2004 which his new company uses, has batch plotting. Since I actually do not use MDT and I skipped using 2004 I was wondering if someone here had an answer for this question.

    Hi

    After reviewing / searching the Autodesk Discussion Groups "All Autodesk Mechanical Desktop General" - MDT does have the capability to Batch Plot, what is not clear from over there is which options is available for MDT 2004...

    * Batch Plot utility
    or
    * Publish command

    I would guess MDT 2004 uses the Publish command, seeing as AutoCAD 2004 uses this command to Batch Plot.

    Have a good one, Mike

    I don't know that I can provide any more insight than Mike can (or maybe just a little bit more), but MDT typically uses the same type of plot functions as the underlaying AutoCAD.

    It's probably that it uses the Publish command, if the AutoCAD beneath it does.
