I have just tried to create a pan file and noticed the export feature is gone in 6.0 & 6.1. It's still in 5.1 though.
What happened? I want it back, or do we have to go and buy another piece of software now?

It does seem to be gone, it's still in the help file though. Very odd.
Either an error or some blatant misdescription!
I wonder if it has something to do with the export to gbxml(which has anyone tried yet?) Still we should still have panorama export.

I though gbxml was a format readable by the Green Building Studio people, how is that linked to panoramic files, Scott?
Its still there, but the UI for creating a pan file has become more transparent:
When rendering a view, the option bar has the option to render using by camera, spherical, and cylindrical.
Select spherical, then raytrace.
In the rendering pane, select Export Image.
The option to export pan file is there.
thanks for the heads up.
Why doesn't Revit include what's new or what changes they have made to the product so we can find it later.? Yes, No?
From the R6.0 Release Notes :-
Visualization and Rendering
More Rendering Options
In the raytrace tool, options are presented for perspective or orthographic camera, scene name, cylindrical or spherical panoramas, image quality, image size, and to stop and restart rendering.
