Insert hard return in Mtext

How can I insert a hard return in Mtext? I have tried but have not had any success. Thanks.

A hard return is "\\P".

I've tried that and \N but get nothing from it. I will figure out the reason. I am not going to give up until this is solved. I appreciate the help.

Did you see that it is supposed to be doubled (backslash)? "P" and it has to be capitol. What are you trying to do, maybe that will help?
