Default DWG size factor as parameter??

Symbol for embankments - I need to be able to have lots of different sizes on one drawing. This family works in the familiy editor but not in the model.... I can think of lots of other examples of where I need this type of thing.

I dont want to have create a complicated family with ref planes and constraints....

    EDIT

Its an imported DWG with the dwg scale factor set as a paramater - works in the family no problems at all - wont work in the model......

    Thanks.

Hi Pete - I didnt really explain the problem fully!! - just posted the family..

Its not the different sizes that are causing me the problem its that the DWG size as a paramater doesnt want to work once in a model...the family seemed to work and I was quite happy - the DWG scales up and down in the family no problem at all - but it doesnt scale up and down once in a model??.....

    Martin
Yesterday I did some try outs ... without success.
Indeed ... I can think of lots of examples where one can use sizeable imported DWG's. So ... I like to know the answer to.

About the embankment symbol: as a try out I used 1 spline with 1 parameter for scaling the spline. Works fine for the purpose it serves. If you like ... I'll post it.
