Default Very silly question: simple solid pyramid?

Just a silly (but urgent) question: how to simply create a solid pyramid on a rectangular base? (I will have to make it parametric, but that's OK, once I know how to actually ...start it ). Extrusion obviously doesn't work, nor blend, sweep or revolve... I just must have a mental block or something?

    Help!

How about using blend but using a very very small square for the top shape is that not enough?

Quickest way i can think of for now is to use a blend with a negligible sized square top - this way it almost but doesnt quite taper to a point... but if its small enough you wouldnt notice the difference.

I'll think about it some more tho =)

There is no such thing as a silly question... Use an extrusion and void working in perpendicular planes. Refer attached image.

In the default Massing library, a parametric pyramid already exists.

This brings up a good point, it would be useful a set of basic solids or for that mater to be creat "any" mathematically descibable shape
