Need some help with block references!Please.

I need to find how many block references there are of a certain block definition in modelspace,but autocad's help doesn't really help alot in this area, i just didn't find anything that could help me. For example is there a collection for block references like there is for block definitions?if someone can point me the way to an answer, i would greatly apreciate this! Thanks for the attention.

There are many posts here about this. Did you try the search feature?
For a quick start, one method you could employ would be to create a filtered selection set and query the Count property of the SS.
Another would be to loop through ALL of modelspace looking for blockrefs and checking the name, if found increment your counter.
