    Default Two storey Farm House

I am presently doing a small addition and renovation to an existing farm house. Everything seem to be fine (with the exception of the exterior step issue). I have managed to nicely delineate between the existing and new construction at the main floor level. However I have tried to do the same on the second level - existing walls do not want to grey out (half-tone) when I refer to them as existing. Why - existing walls can not be on multiple levels ???

    Regards

Check your phasing filter on the second floor and see if it is the same as the first floor.

Make sure the Phase is set to New Construction, and the Filter is set to Show Previous + New in the 2nd floor's view properties.

I typically find that my floor plan views will default to Show All when I create them, which does not apply the phasing graphic overrides, which will not show existing walls as gray. I usually have to change them to Show Previous + New to get them to show correctly.

    Right on - works great.

    Thanks much.
