    Default Stuctural steel cad blocks

I am needing structural steel cad blocks cause I would like to set up a catalog. My desire is to aquire something for free off the internet. Something accurate and clean. I know the full blown version of autocad has a material compose cause I used it at the place I worked at before but now I work somewhere that only uses 2006LT. I don't know if there is a source for files such as this. If anyone has any ideas please help.

    Hi

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

If you can only afford free, try a Google search for free libraries on the Internet and download/test/examine each block for accuracy. Just realize you are getting what you paid for, so be careful. Explore sites like this:
    http://www.cadcorner.ca/strstlblocks.php

If you were to consider a purchase, there remain a few low cost libraries out there. Google should link you to those as well.

...for those of you who are still finding this post in search results; you will find a large library of UK steel section here (including Tata Steel Advanced sections):

    http://www.yourspreadsheets.co.uk/st...d-library.html

this is a FREE library in AutoCAD format. All sections are in one .dwg so it is easy to browse and use. I hope this helps.
