    Default AutoCAD LT 2004 Locking up when Opening a file

    When I open a recent file in 2004 LT is locks up while "regenerating model".

    I then have to ctl-alt-del manually to shut down AutoCAD. Upon rebooting my computer, it usually works for a few sessions then the same lockup. Is there a patch or setting to correct this? I am running windows XP and have AutoCAD LT 2004 SP 1a loaded.

    Have you tried to Audit/Recover the file?
