Question Draw an Arc, tangent to two points...

Is it possible to draw an arc, tangent to two points without knowing the start, end, length, angle or radius?

In other words, if we are trying to draw an arc that is tangent to two circles but we have not determined the start, end, length, angle or radius and would like to consider mutiple options within the constraints of the start and end of the arc being on the two circles

CAD does not seem to allow the sliding tangent snap used for lines with arcs - we fear this may be a function of the way that CAD defines arcs and circles in effect creating an infinite set of circumstances that the computer can not generate for interactive study

You need to know at least two parameters to draw the arc.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

Try the tangent-tangent-radius, or TTR Osnap. Otherwise, you'll need to give ACAD a little more information.

You can use the Tan-Tan-Radius option of the Circle command and trim later.

It would be kind of kool if there was a way to allow changing the radius or dragging the middle grip of the arc and have the arc stay tangent to the two circles though. Reactors? Hmmm... ~insert smily for thoughful here~ A little over my head, at this point though.
