    Default Reset Object Name Counter

When creating objects such as parcels, alignments and profiles, the default name includes a counter. When I create a layout profile, for example, the default name is "Layout (1)". The next profile is "Layout (2)" and so on. If I create "Layout (2)" then undo or delete it from the prospector the next layout is still "Layout (3)".

How can I reset the counters for the different object types?

The only thing I found in help was the Renumber/Rename Parcels command. This helps with parcels but I still want a way to reset the counter so I don't have to renumber them.

Default Re: Reset Object Name Counter

Settings Tab, of the Toolspace, find the object, or objects collection (PROFILES) right-click and select Edit Feature Settings...in the box that appears find the Default Name Template and Manually reset the Starting number. This is much like Land Desktop, and the points command not resetting the current point number downward after points have been deleted from the database. This can also be done from within the various CREATE type commands, or on settings tab.
