    Default Witness Line gap control

    How does it work? Suddenly I have to manually pull every witness line to the dimensioned object and I don't see any unusual setting in dimension controls.
    First placed, witness line offset is 19" as seen on V1 and V2.

    In attachment a quick setup to a situation a think which is similar to yours. (Upper row of doors)
    As you can see the Dim Line references towards the door swings Symbolic Line ruled by a nested Ref Line in the Door family. (Row of doors below)
    So ... Select the Dim. line > Edit Witness Line and have a look a the red lines that show up as the Dim. Line references.

    Edit/adition : check the concerning Rfa's Elements Properties > Other > Is Reference, Not a Reference etc.
