Edit MText when using an external application

ACAD2004:
Changed options/files to use WORD as external application for editing mtext. WORD opens when mtext is selected but there's no option to save changes and return to the drawing. What am I missing?

Changed options/files to use WORD as external application for editing mtext. WORD opens when mtext is selected but there's no option to save changes and return to the drawing. What am I missing?

I use TextPad and when I exit the program the question is, save or not ?
You must exit the program to get control over the drawing again.
