Cool Anyone else having the DWF Viewer locking up their computer?

    Hello once again,

Some of my coworkers are experiencing an odd problem when viewing my HTML pages containing DWF files (active X is used to embed). Their machines are locking up, and the error report screen appears. If you fire up the task manager, there are MULTIPLE processes running for the error report. somewhere around 20 separate instances. Each needs to be killed separately, or just keep clicking the cancel button on the error report dialog box, or reboot the computer.

Does anyone out there have any idea why this is happening? A bit more info here as well. The users seem to have multiple programs running, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Could the PC just be running out of resources?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Don

    Hi Don

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Plotting forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike
