Default Importing and tracing a 3D dxf

Is this possible? We have 3D dxf's created by SAP and now we want to start drafting them in Revit. The structures are non-orthogonal 3D trusses, so being able to trace them would save a huge amount of time. We have just started using Revit, so any info you can provide would be helpful.

Have you determined a solution for this? I have seen multiple posts now and with 0 responses for this similar issue of creating this non-orthogonal geometry. Its such a waste to have to create a view and ref plan for each independant beam/element.
