    Default Commands stop working

I have searched the forums for commands stop working and have found nothing that helps me with my problem. as my signature says, I am running AutoCAD 2005 and I can be working in a drawing an all of the sudden when a command is typed in, AutoCAD does nothing, no errors, no messages on the commandline, no nothing. One thread suggested using (reload "acad") but AutoCAD returns a message unknown command "reload". Any help would be greatly appreciated. If we exit out of cad and come back in, the commands work fine for a while.

    What commands?

    Xref and bhatch?

Do you plot to file often?

Does shutting down AutoCAD and restarting it temporarily fix the problem?

options, style, spell, and probably others I haven't noticed.

we are running a routine that will automatically plot to file if the layout tab is named correctly, but other than that, I always plot to file even when I use normal plot.

Yes, restarting AutoCAD temporarily fixes the problem

Sounds like the same bug we reported to Autodesk. Something about plotting to file is a factor with this bug.

No solution, restart AutoCAD as a workaround.
