    Does it read or import .max files?

    No - no change in that feature set.

    You can insert .3ds format files like in previous versions. You can export your geometry from Viz or Max as a .3ds file, then insert that into AutoCAD.

    Unfortunately I don't have Viz or max to export to .3ds extension. Is there a converter to change .max to .3ds
