Can anyone please help me return the text editing window to the way it was so a window pops up? I know it is an easy fix, I just can't seem to find the correct one.
Thanks.

Have a look at the MTEXTED and DTEXTED system variables.
Setting MTEXTED to OLDEDITOR should help for the multi-line text.
Setting DTEXTED to 1 should help with the single line text.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

Is DBLCLKEDIT turned on?
It is either text or Mtext and yes, the dblclkedit is turned on.
This may or may not help, but can you post a sample dwg so we can have a look at the entities?
Also, is pickfirst set to 1?

PICKFIRST is set at 1.
I found in my CUI that there is nothing under the double click actions on the left side of the CUI window. I got a copy of a co-worker's list of what is supposed to got there and am in the process of adding double click actions and list the appropriate action under it.
For some reason nothing is there. Not sure why.
I'm going to move this from the Tips & Tricks forum. Thank you.Originally Posted by tschenk.106458
