Double-Click on Dimensions to Edit

Does anyone know if the is a variable that needs to be set or if you can double-click on dimensions so you can edit them just like you can with text.When i double click on the dimension it goes straight to the properties box.

I have looked through the help file and tried quiet a few variables already like PICKFIRST, DBLCLKEDIT.

Not what you asked for but I single-click a dimension and type ED.

If you are using 2007, edit the Double-click action for Dimensions. Set the macro to ._ddedit;

It appears to me that the DIMEDIT command has replaced the double click for editing dimensions. As been stated already I just use ed as well.
