Why the walls disappear?

Attached an ADT2006 drawing - 2D elevation doesn't show the front wall. However, hiding the back objects and refreshing the 2D elevation turns on the front wall.

I spent several hours consulting help and groups, and checked styles, etc. No success. I cant have elevations that way!

What is happening? Please help me!

I think I've narrowed it down to something in the wall style. If I changed the wall style to the "sapata" style, it works fine. If I find more time later today I'll try to see if I can fix it.

I looked after differences in the styles and - finally! - caught the guilty: if you "merge common materials" the wall disappear.
