I am trying to export a revit model to dwg to match the office standard. In that standard existing walls are solid fills on A-WALL-EXST-PATT color 243
It doesnt work.
I get the fills on layer 0, color 10.
Any suggestions?

Before u export from revit, change the layer names ( I mean the family names under export settings) and color to match ur office standards. If u change the color of hatching he revit export setting, it will go to the color in cad u specified in revit.
Cheers,
Niks
I would do that if i new what category the fills are on.
I cant find the category...am i overlooking something?
does a wall fill category exist in the dwg export dialog?
There is no export to layer option available for the cut pattern of a wall in Revit 8.1 or earlier. There will be in Revit 9.
Anyone else battling with exporting wall cut patterns to a seperate layers in RB 9.1?Originally Posted by Steve_Stafford
