    Default Script a multiple attribute block

    Hello
    I want to insert a multiple attribute block in AutoCAD 2005 via a script. I know how to script a single attribute block (-insert c:/temp/block.dwg 10000,20000,0 2) where 10000,20000,0 are the coordinates and 2 are the attribute. I´ve tried to add more attributes after the first one but this doesn't work. Anyone that can help me??

    Best regards
    Ola

    Can you post what you have so far that isn't working?
    If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
    You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

    Hi Ola

    Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Plus, in future please do not post the same question / query to more than one forum.

    I have removed your post from the AutoCAD Dynamic Blocks forum, as per the "AUGI Forum Guidelines - Forum Don'ts"...

    <snip>
    Do not post the same question to more than one Forum at a time. The term for this is "Cross-Forum Posting" which can be quite confusing and will complicate the Forum process. All but one of the posts will be deleted by the moderators.
    </snip>

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi
    I`ve tried to add a second attribute after the first one (see attached file). What happens is that both attributes in the script ends up in the first attribute defined tag in the block and the second defined attribute i have to enter manually. How do you separate the attributes in the script file so that i dont have to enter the second attribute manually?

    Best Regards

    Hi
    The thread Script & Block Attributes solved the problem.
    I added block scale and rotation to the script. Works fine
    I attach my script as well.

    Hi Ola

    Thank you posting back with the requested information and sharing the Script file you put together ( with a little help from thread "Script & Block Attributes ).
