    Unhappy RE: 8.1 Printing Bug

Hi guys, I'm new to Revit, (second week stage) and have just prepared a small project that I only needed the floor plan, but I followed up with foundation, sections, 3d views, etc...all in the name of holy cow look what I can do (almost!)
Now, I must supply the floor plan and need to send the file to a remote printing co. I've saved as a .plt file cause the printer told me .prn meant nothing to them...and the file still looks like a big black blob to them.
    Advice on settings please?
Thank you from new AUGI guy!

To send them a plot file you'll need to print using a driver that corresponds to the plotter they are using. Have you set up one on your computer? You might try plotting to pdf format instead and send them that? I didn't suggest dwf format since they may not know what that is either if they've never heard of prn files.

Sorry about the need for a thread change...as you can see, it's my 1st post! I've sent CAD files to them before using the HP DesignJet 755cm and my .plt files always came out fine! The printer told me that the jpg of my business card in the title block came out fine, the titleblock itself is very faint (white?) and the rest of the drawing (plan) is black with some dimensions kinda visable...it sounds like a wireframe view (all black !) Looking forward to the 4th week of Revit (Not looking back!)

Try changing the printer properties to "process in computer".
