    Default Helix & Sweep commands

    Group;

I just wanted to say that I love these new commands.

You can easily create curved sloping stair stringers now.
You also get some control grips to edit them after they're created.

PS: 2007 looks awesome so far!

Now I only wish I could create an elliptical helix.
Maybe I should add it as a wish list item.

    Nice!

I need to take another look and figure out how to do that.

Explode the helix. Make a block of it. Insert it with different x and y scale. Explode it. Sweep it.

    Hey jimmy,

Do we really need all this?

    The command returns:
    Specify base radius or [Diameter]
    Specify top radius or [Diameter]

we can just choose different values, right?

    bye!

That won't give you an elliptical helix as asked for.

    Hi all,
Just started using 2007 & I've been wondering about modelling a curved ramp - would this be the way to go or is there a better way?
