3D polyline as extrusion path

Im ronnie, from KSA, a new user of AUGI forum, AutoCAD2005 user.

anybody could help me about the above mentioned title:

I draw a closed polyline profile of a roof gutter(spanish type gutter) then draw 3D polyline that runs through the edge of the roof eaves with gable in the front-side. i have
envoked the extrude command and pick the 3D polyline as the extrusion path. My gutter profile was also extruded but in the gable portion, the extruded profile was not perpendicular to the roof ( the vertical side fascia & the extruded gutter profile are not parallel as what I've expected. Anybody outhere can help me to correct this? It would be very much appreciated.
