    Default Open drawing file - An error occurred reading Layer Standard from drawing

    Has anyone ever seen this?
    I opened a drawing up and i get an autocad error messager "An error ocurred reading Layer Sandard from drawing."

    I have no idea what has happened. I have done a recover on the drawing and nothing changes. I left on maternity leave and I came back to way to many messes and problems.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Question Re: Open drawing file - An error occurred reading Layer Standard from drawing

    Hi

    First guess...

    Has the drawing file got a DWS file associated with it ie.

    * Standards
    * CheckStandards

    Have a good one, Mike

    There was no standards file attached. I ended up wblocking out the information i needed and starting a new drawing. That seemed to have fixed whatever was wrong.
