Default Repair / fix a Field that has been manually updated in a Sheet Set

    Hi

we use sheet set to manage all my drawing.

somebody change manually the revision number on one sheet.
now when i change the revision throught Sheet set the revision field
    is not updating.

can i re-link or recreate the field in my sheet ? if yes How can i do this?

    best regards

    Luc

    Hi Luc

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

just had this happen here, go to a working sheet, highlight the field, r.click and select 'edit field', and see what the properties are. you can duplicate by making new one in place of manually edited field.

we forget some information, i work with autocad 2006.

we put fielddisplay variable value to 1 to see my field, the revisio field is not anymore
a field it is just text.

we never found "edit field " command

we upload my drawing, we dont know if you can do something with only the sheet.

From what I can see the person didn't erase your field, they shrank it so small it only apprears as a dot between the "2" in the info block and the "n" in revision. I also noticed that it is not a part of you information block and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way or not. If you change the text height back to 0.09 the field shows up the way I believe you want it to.

that only works on an existing field, the trick is to double-click the word, and then right-click while pointer arrow is over highlighted text. apologies if you already did this.

in case of shrunken text, when in expanded text editor (dialog box with 3 tabs) you can re-size your field without having to 'edit block in place', or any other way...
