Default Jumpy mouse while in command

I am running AutoCAD 2006 LT. In one specific file I am working in, the mouse works normally when out of command, however as soon as most commands are enetered, the mouse goes jumpy, and is hard to draft. I have tried audit and purge, and restarting both the machine and AutoCAD. This problem only happens in this one file. If anyone has any info on this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Kale

    Hi Kale

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

Question Re: Jumpy mouse while in command

    Hi

Is SnapMode tuned "ON" ( ie = 1 ) in that one problem drawing file ?

    Have a good one, Mike

    Hi

Is it possible to post the problem drawing file so we can take a look at the issue / problem, first hand ( so-to-speak )...

    Have a good one, Mike

Before posting the drawing, just want to clarify.

We are talking about SNAP, not OSNAP or Object Snap.

My apologies if you realize that and this seems like a dumb statement. I have seen many people confuse the two.

That's ok, unfortunately, I can't post the file at this stage. Snap is turned off, I don't use that at all. It just seems to be lagging, however, I have worked on jobs that are much bigger files, and have not had the same problem. It is ok when out of command, however, when you enter commands, such as Extrude, Trim, Offset etc.. that it decides to play up.

    Well, I'm out of guesses

Can you not post the drawing because of it's content?

Why not delete all the entities, save the drawing. Open it back up to make sure the problem still exists, then post the empty drawing if so.
