Does it look okay if you plot to paper straight from Acad?Originally Posted by VLG
From cad is fine. its only from pdf & on some plotters there is no problemOriginally Posted by Steve.Sanderson(UK)
Hmmmm...Bizarre! I've looked through some of the similar threads at the bottom of this one, and seems like others have had the same problem, although the fact that it works on some plotters and not on others leads me to believe its a driver related problem.Originally Posted by VLG
But have a look at the similar threads below there may be something that jumps out at you to try.
Hi
Try plugging the following search criteria into the forum search facility ( there are a lot of discussions / information to be had, relating to that particular PDF issue / problem, here on the forums )...
Key Word(s): *WipeOut* + *PDF*
Black + *PDF*
Have a good one, Mike
Thaks Mike I've spent the last while scouring AUGI lookig for a clue that will help & might have got a lead on something.....Originally Posted by Mike.Perry

There is at least one solution in the below threads, have you looked there yet?Originally Posted by VLG

One of the solutions that was mentioned was to DWF first I've tried that & it seem to be a usable workaround, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a complete fix.Originally Posted by Mike.Perry
Thank to all for their input.
I am inclined to agree that it's a driver problem; as well as the problem with Wipeouts printing as black we've had a similar problem with PDF. Some of our AutoCAD 2004 drawings have at least 1 image file attached. When we create PDF files to share with secretarial staff, we can print the resulting PDF on our plotter without any problem. However on the colour laser printer the file takes 40 minutes to process for the girls. (The same printer can kick out photos 10 times the size of the PDF file in question, in nothing flat.)
