Default Invisible temporary dimensions when performing a Linear Stretch

I want to do a Linear Stretch Pair, but the stretch is truelly eyeballed, so I really don't want the temporary dimension to show up. But only for this block, indeed only for this Distance.
Is htere any way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Gordon

Would changing DRAGMODE help? If so you may want to use a macro to change/reset the variable whilst inserting the block.
