    Smile Create a colored zone to highlight an area within a drawing

    How can I create a colored zone with a minimum of transparency to highlight a zone of my drawing??

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

    Take a look at Solid Hatch.

    Thanks,
    but those methods only affects "density" of the colored zone, but not really the tranparency.

    Hi

    The following snippet is from an E-mail that "tpabut" sent (hopefully it may help someone come up with a suitable solution to "tpabut" issue) -

    <snip>
    My question is, in that case, concerning a raster picture file on wich I want to higlight a zone.
    </snip>

    Therefore have you looked at the ._Transparency command.

    PullDownMenu: Modify -> Object -> Image -> Transparency

    Might want to take a look at the following -

    M-Color

    Have a good one, Mike

    The only workaround I am aware of is to create a dot hatch pattern with a density set to simulate a translucent hatch. Would be nice if it was added to AutoCAD as an addition to gradient fills.

    It sounds like you need to create a solid hatch and then send to back.

    Is this close?
