Default What is this called (and how do you turn it off)?

I feel a bit silly for asking this, but what is the name for the angle and distance display in this screen capture?

I'd like to be able to turn it off, but none of the drafting settings seems to be able to get rid of it. It's causing my laptop to have absolute fits redrawing the screen over and over, and makes it almost impossible to draft as I'm fighting the lag to grab the osnaps I want.

    Thanks!

At the extreme, to disable all of it, set DYNMODE = 0

There are various levels of this on-screen stuff, so you might want to explore the settings here also:

    Command: +DSETTINGS
    Tab Index <0>:3

It's your Dynamic Input setting. Press F12 to turn it off. If your getting "cursor trails" when moving your mouse/cursor, try turning off Hardware Acceleration.

Thanks a bunch! It's been so long since it was added I couldn't remember the name. I've got a Skylake based HD520 graphics on my machine, and AutoCAD does *not* want to play nice with it. With hardware accel on, it will only draw about 1400 px tall on my 4k desktop/external monitor, plus the screen won't regen (have to manually regen after every command), so I'm CPU only unless AutoDesk decides to start supporting embedded intel GPUs. Turning off all these extra draws makes it so much faster!
