    Default Scaling Filled Regions

Ok, just give me back my AutoCAD Scale command and I'll never complain again (maybe).
How in the heck do you scale a filled region? See attached jpg.
I have the company logo that I created by tracing filled regions over our linked AutoCAD template (even used the same colors! - just for fun ok). Now I want to scale it down for the 11x17 sheet, except that the Scale tool as well as Edit->Resize are greyed out and there appears to be no way to adjust the size of these regions (dragging grips is obviously not acceptable).

How do I reduce the size of the logo. Please don't tell me I have to redraw it.

We use JPG's for logos....since you already have the JPG, you can bring it into your 11x17 titleblock and size it easily to anything you need.

edit the sketch, select all the lines, and use resize. Not perfect but it works

But then you may get the error message stating that “some lines may be too small”. At that point the jpg is only the way to go for that precise detail.

I gave up and redrew it and yes I did get the dreaded "You are an idiot and drew a line too short even though that is your corporate logo - so change your logo jerk" message box.

Sigh....again this program still needs lot of work.

Sorry to hear that it wouldn't do it the way you wanted but as the other guys have suggested it would have been easier to have made it into a jpeg and bring it into Revit. You wouldn't have wasted time on redrawing the logo.

sorry i didnt answer the question directly, but I was trying to give you a different way to handle the logo issue, which is to use JPGs. What I meant by "you already have the JPG" is that you created a JPG to post here....just use that, insert into titleblock, resize, and you are done.

Hi this is a man from the future. It's 12 years later and nothing has changed.
