Ability to select disappears

Here I am working away using grips galore, then, all of the sudden, I can not select an object, then another and another and etc. until I restart. I can still pick a command then select an object, but can't get grips. Restart of the drawing fixes it for a while.

Also, does anyone know where the documentation for the way selections now work or any new variables for selection?

What is your PickFirst system variable set to when this occurs?

It is always set to 1.

Have you verified that when the bug occurs?

It is a bug, happens in MAP3D 2005 On the AD Newsgroups for Map the topic comes up quite often. I think someone tied a reactor to the pickfirst var and the modemarco to watch and narrowed it down but no idea on how to fix it.

Sorry I got into the wrong Forum, I have the problem in Map3D too. (how do i move it?) Thanks for the help, I had heard that it was a bug too, but was trying to exhaust all of my resources.
