Wall tag linked to wall elevation??

I am trying to create a wall tag that displays on the plan, but also creates a sectional elevation of the wall that is tagged.

Firstly is this possible? if so how would it be done.

If it is not possible, is it just a matter of creating the tag and then placing a section mark with no section head or end so that you only see the tag on plan?

Sounds like something you do with your existing tools? What does it look like specifically? Can you attach an image? You are not going to get a wall tag to create a view. Perhaps with the various tools Revit has you can create the end result you are hoping for.

Yes, it is something we do with autocad. We have a wall tag on our plans, then draw the wall elevations. In our conversion over to Revit, I was hoping to be able to place an annotation of some sort, be it a tag or elevation mark, on plan & haev the elevation of the wall created.

I wasn't sure how to achieve this as the elevation marks are system families and therefore not editable.

Anyway I have attached an image of what our tag looks like.
