How do you get a simple handrail?

I have extended my handrail 12 in past the ramp and I cannot get rid of the vert baluster.
Any help greatly appreciated

two ways.

1. do not extend the HR line at all: use a HANDRAIL EXTENSION w/out POST piece as the end "post"
(you can download these all over the place; Autodesk CONTENT distribution has 'em)

2. moneky around with your baulstrade spacing from end
(I said MONKEY cause I have a feeling that a primate could do this second method faster then I can- it is a bit unnerving, but a little testing with the spacing will do it)

Select the handrail, check the properties - Edit - Baluster Placement - and set the Baluster Families to "none" for main pattern and posts.
