    Default direction of surfaces

    Hi
when I make surface by any method like cross section and rail, the result is surface which it has normal line, my question is : can I change direction of that surface? if it has direction to up , can I change it to down?
    thank you for your help

Old skewl question. It's been a long time since I've messed with MDT surfaces (and I wasn't that good then). I don't have MDT right in front of me, but if I remember right I think you can edit the surface and 'Flip Normal'.

You might be able to search the help system for 'Flip Normal' too.

    Hope this helps
