    Default Time tracking software

Anyone got a suggesting for a simple app that
    • records time in applications and what file is open in that application
    • records idle time and allows the user to enter what they were doing while away from the computer
Older versions of Winwhatwhere used to do this, but now WWW is more like spyware!

The idea being to make timesheets more accurate (and to help those of us who didn't fill in our timesheets on a given day and are scratching our heads to remember what we did last Tuesday)

    Cheers

Would be great. However, you know some modelers will be very creative and sometimes very frank about what they were doing when away from their computer.

I found/was told about an app called Time Snapper (or something to that affect) that would grab your screen image every so often (whatever you set it to) and save it in a directory somewhere for you to view later. It plays a cool movie of the results and even pauses when there's no activity for a specified amount of time.

I don't know if it's really the right thing for Big Brother but it was pretty cool... unfortunately to be really effective it would need fairly frequent screens and that starts to eat into storage space pretty quickly. I can't remember what my one-day test showed but it was really high.
