Default How to create a dynamic attributed block

I want to create a block with attributes and visibility states for the addresses of my various company offices.

I can create it as a dynamic block inside the drawing, but I can't figure out how to do it so I can insert it as a normal block in a new drawing, without using tool pallets.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

    Cheers for any help
    Andy

select the block and r.click for popup menu, then select 'Update Block'. Re-select the block and then invoke the 'WBLOCK' command. save it wherever you heart desires. you can then insert like any other block via the 'browse' option.

ok, i'm still in 2006, but you have to exit the block editor environment to do the actions i describe above. Only thing that makes DB's different than other blocks are their flexibility. exit the BE environment and all should work for you. ~crosses fingers~

sorry about the 'Update' comment... that's what i get for answering questions without actually looking at the popup, but thinking about its action...
