    Default HP 1050c Plotter issues

Hopefully i'm posting in the correct section.

Anyways, I have an HP 1050c plus. The plotter works fine out of Revit 8.1, but creates the folowing error out of Revit 9.0:

Spooler Subsystem App has generated an error.

has anyone experienced anything similar and how did you fix it?

We have the same printer and the same problem with R9.0 only. We have to print a PDF first then print that - this has been our only solution. Fortunately we dont use that plotter so often as its only for colour prints over A3 size, so I havent complained yet. But we are getting the exact same issue....

Thanks for the reply. Pity there isn't a fix for this.

Check the driver? We have the 1050C, and HP has postscript and non-postscript drivers. I've found that the PS drivers don't work very well with Revit. I haven't noticed your problem here, though, so this is just a shot in the dark.

Try setting the driver to process "in computer" and not "in printer". Slower, but usually fixes the issues.

We've had the same issue... In computer sometimes fixes the problem.

Thanks for the response guys, I will try the in computer option. I have had feedback from one of the resellers in Port Elizabeth. He recommended that I change the Raster quality to low.

    Will advise on further developments.

Already tried the in computer option here, didnt make any difference to me?....... when I try to print from Revit 9.0 to the 1050c it actually knocks out all of the other as well printers for about 5 minutes.

postcript or non postscript drivers though, not sure whats on it now will check it out.
