    Default purge failed

an attempt to purge occasionally results in a continuous loop on the command line "acdb OpenObject failed".
once this happens, the loop can only be stopped by shutting down autocad.
of course, i have had to adopt the custom to "save" before ever purging, to avoid loosing any recent changes.

I think you should try "audit" and/or "recover" on files that cause this behaviour.
I've never seen this but it sounds as if the file(s) is corrupt.
