Polar Stretch

Summary: A polar stretch command that would stretch objects (for example, arcs) around a center point while maintaining the radius of the arc.

Description: I would like a polar stretch command.

How Used: i hate triming the lines then rotating everything else around to that point. if there was a polar stretch it would make my life easier anyway.

LENGTHEN allows you to stretch arcs while maintaining the radius point.

i realize that lengthen will stretch the arc but my wish of polar stretch would not only stretch the arc maintaining the radius but if you had more objects at either end of that arc (for example some type of connection) that it would at the same time rotate those items around the centre point. hence a polar stretch.

Just curious, would you want it to stretch the other objects while stretching the arc, or rotate the other obejcts while stretching the arc?

What would determine what objects to rotate and what obejcts to stretch, different selections?

one box around the end you want picked and then any object falling in side that box would be rotated while the arcs are stretched around their centre maintaining thier radiuses.
