    Default Command repetition

    I began using Map 3D 2007 ~2 weeks ago.

When I try hitting the Enter key to repeat my last command, I get MAPUICMDPICKSET. It is also repeated numerous times in the UNDO pulldown. I have been unable to find anything about this in the HELP files. I would really like to have my Enter key work as it did in 2005.

Also, when I hit the up arrow key in order to repeat previous input, it gives me the absolute coordinates of my last pick. I am not using the dynamic command line as it slows me down for geological drafting.

    TIA,

    Ray

    A) What is SHORTCUTMENU set to?

    B) What is INPUTHISTORYMODE set to?

    SHORTCUTMENU is set to 26

    INPUTHISTORYMODE is 15

I used 2005 for ~18 months and I am assuming these are new variables. The company will be conducting classes for updating to '07 beginning tomorrow, but it was becoming frustrating, so I thought I would check with AUGI.

    Thanks,

    Ray

SHORTCUTMENU has been around since R2000 - Easier to set in OPTIONS | User Preferences | Right-click customiztion.

INPUTHISTORYMODE has been around since r2006 - Try setting this to 0 (zero) and see if that isn't what you are after.

"0" on INPUTHISTORYMODE was what I needed. I have used the Shortcut menu in options, but did not realize it is a bitcode setting.

Once again AUGI has cured my frustration.

I had the same problem. I had to unlink the autocad 3d stylization while zooming, that gold padlock on down on the status bar. It seems to work.

MAPUICMDPICKSET - How do you turn it off permanently?
This is an issue that does not seem to have resolution. It would be nice if someone from Autodesk would address it and suggest a solution.
I have tried all of the previous responses and none of them work. Autodesk Map 3d 2007 has the same problem even with the SP2.
Anyone out there have a solution that works?
