Hi there!
It is interesting try to link Revit model with Google Earth but i prefer way the Google Earth plug-in for SketchUp works:
- import photo from GE into SU
- place model in it's position on photo
- export model back to the GE (no need to input geographical coordinates).
Do you also get the 3D model in GE with this method? We don't have Sketch-up so I have to use this method. This is a test i did with one of our projects. This project has a fair bit of site benching and that does not work with GE.

This simple geometry (see attached Test.zip) I made in SU, with some textures on it. New GE 4 Beta allows textures on models (very nice feature). Then I've exported model to GE through GooglePlugin. It works fine. Google SU Free You can download from it's site.
It's pity that Revit does not have such plug-in (I mean with such workflow).
I downloaded Earth Connector yesterday, and have yet to get it to work - I get an error. Tried it on 3 projects, same error, no luck - anybody actually gotten this to work?
I also get error using earth connector. The Revit to Google SU to GE seems the way to go.
Yes, I got it working.
I uploaded a small mass model created directly from Revit.
To view in Google Earth:
1. Download the zip file
2. unzip
3. open Google Earth
4. open the revit-model.kmz file
